With an increased visibility of non-binary people, strategies to overcome gender bias in language beyond a binary conception (male/female) have been proposed. To address this topic from the perspective of translation and language technology the GenderFairMT team organizes this panel discussion with members of the non-binary and queer community, professional translators, and developers of language technology on 17 September 2021 at 7 pm. After the discussion we are happy to invite participants to drinks at the event location Erste Campus at around 8:30 pm.
